Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), a member of Qatar Foundation, has launched its revamped Incubation Programme with the Fall 2026 cohort.
The new cohort welcomes 52 local and international startups across 19 sectors into a 16-week programme designed to help founders move from business validation to launch and investment readiness.
Three-Phase Startup Journey
The revamped programme introduces a structured three-stage pathway:
-
Sprint – Testing and validating startup ideas and business models
-
Incubation – Turning validated ideas into operating businesses
-
Funding – Connecting investment-ready startups with potential investors
The three phases combine venture development, practical execution, market access and investor engagement into one continuous journey.
Four-Week Sprint Phase
The programme begins with a four-week Sprint focused on testing and strengthening each startup.
Founders will work on key areas including:
Product-market fit
Go-to-market strategy
Product readiness
Market potential
Financial planning
Team dynamics
Through workshops, mentorship, hands-on development, fieldwork and regular pitching sessions, participants will be encouraged to test assumptions, demonstrate progress and strengthen their ventures.
Eight-Week Incubation Phase
Startups that successfully pass the evaluation process will move into the eight-week Incubation phase.
During this stage, founders will focus on putting their plans into action by establishing their businesses, entering the local market and securing pilot opportunities.
The programme will also help startups prepare for regional expansion and future investment.
Four-Week Funding Phase
The final four-week Funding phase is designed to connect investment-ready startups with potential investors.
QSTP will facilitate relevant investor introductions based on the progress and needs of participating companies, while also supporting follow-up discussions.
QSTP Highlights Founder-Focused Approach
Rama Chakaki, President of QSTP, said successful startups are built by testing assumptions, proving demand and turning evidence into action.
She said the reimagined programme provides ambitious founders with the support, access and opportunities needed to build companies with strong potential, establish themselves in Qatar and expand across the region.
52 Startups Join Fall 2026 Cohort
The Fall 2026 cohort consists of 25 local and 27 international startups representing 19 different sectors.
The participating companies span industries including EdTech, MedTech, FinTech, cybersecurity and SportsTech.
The cohort officially began the programme on September 1, 2026, becoming the first group to progress through QSTP's newly revamped incubation journey.
